Cryptocurrencies on the Rise

Of the 2,186 digital cryptocurrencies we monitor, the past 24 hours saw total market gains of $4,913,408,059.00 as 1,270 of the currencies rose and 798 went down. The biggest impacts on the market came from Bitcoin (btc), Bitcoin SV (bsv), Ethereum (eth), Binance Coin (bnb), and Bitcoin Cash (bch).

Crypto Market Winners and Losers

If we look across the 2,186 cryptocurrencies that we track, the biggest short-term winners were:

  • TRONCLASSIC (trxc), gained 675.58%, and a market cap of 1,235 Bitcoins.
  • Virtacoin (vta), gained 502.95%, and a market cap of 4.00 Bitcoins.
  • ODUWA (owc), gained 434.26%, with a market cap of 118 Bitcoins.
  • ShareX (sexc), gained 424.83%, with a market cap of 106 Bitcoins.
  • IceChain (ichx), gained 237.42%, with a market cap of 2.00 Bitcoins.

On the downside, the biggest losers were:

  • ACRE (acre), lost -88.79%.
  • Infinipay (ifp), lost -85.25%.
  • BitGuild PLAT (plat), lost -85.12%.
  • EnergiToken (etk), lost -82.99%.
  • Kurrent (kurt), lost -81.75%.


Bitcoin’s (BTC) value swung between a high of $8,112.00 and a low of $7,814.80 ending twenty four hours of trading at $8,045.89. The past 24 hours saw an increase of $1,510,781,962.00 in market cap. It has seen a 1.32% weekly increase, and in the last hour it has risen 0.38%. Currently there are 17,714,212 Bitcoins in circulation, representing 84.35% of the final twenty-one million Bitcoins that can be mined. A total of 3,152,728 of these Bitcoins were traded in the past 24 hours.

In May Bitcoin started the month at $5,370.15 and swung between $5,219.76 and $8,305.28, closing the month at $7,994.64 on May 20.

Examining the Top 20 cryptocurrencies ranked by market capitalization, the top performers over the last 24 hours were Bitcoin SV (bsv) 57.92%, Binance Coin (bnb) 9.59%, IOTA (miota) 3.98%, Ethereum (eth) 3.03%, Bitcoin Cash (bch) 2.67%, while the worst three performing cryptocurrencies were Tezos (xtz) -0.78%, Cosmos (atom) -0.59%, NEM (xem) -0.42%.
