Of the 1,665 digital crypto currencies we monitor, the past 24 hours saw total market gains of $207,461,752.00, as 1,016 currencies rose and 632 went down. The biggest impact on the market came from Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Dash (DASH).

Top 20 Crypto-Currency Coins

Examining the top 20 crypto currencies (by market cap), the top performers over the last 24 hours were Bitcoin Cash (BCH) 8.12%, Binance Coin (BNB) 5.90%, Ontology (ONT) 4.51%, Litecoin (LTC) 3.98%, EOS (EOS) 3.02%, while the lowest performing was NEM (XEM) -1.73%.

Bitcoin Update

Bitcoin (BTC) swung between a high of $4,166.80 and a low of $3,990.00 ending twenty four hours of trading at $4,040.87. This equates to an increase of $199,018,560.00 in market cap. It has seen a 2.11% weekly increase, and in just the last hour bitcoin has fallen -0.11%. Currently there are 17,592,412 bitcoins in circulation, representing 83.77% of the final twenty-one million bitcoins that can be mined. 2,437,874 of these bitcoins were traded in the past 24 hours.

In March Bitcoin started the month at $3,854.71 and swung between $3,746.80 and $3,986.73, closing at $3,964.22 on March 15.
